Riad began his chef life at the prestigious Daphnes in Knightsbridge at the tender age of 16, he learnt his trade in 5* surroundings. He then went on to work at the equally prestigious Browns Hotel in Mayfair. An amazing opportunity arose to open a brand new Waldorf Astoria Hotel in West London as Sous Chef. After meeting the love of his life Sarah, they settled in Blackheath and Riad went on to work under Mark Hix of HIXs Soho, HIX chophouse and then back to Browns Hotel in Mayfair but this time as Head Chef at the age of 26! This was a huge accomplishment at such a young age.
Sarah started her working life at 18 as cabin crew for British Airways long haul. She trained for her PPL at the age of 24 at the possibility of becoming a commercial pilot one day. But then like Riad a great opportunity arose locally in west London - a Waldorf Astoria being built in the beautiful historic grounds of Syon Park and Sarah got the job as Guest Relations Manager! It was great, 10 minutes from home and finally a more grounded job (no pun intended), no more missing family gatherings or Christmas! This is where Sarah fell in love with a very talented Sous Chef - Riad.
After a couple of years another amazing challenge came in form of the real estate industry in central London. Sarah became the Client Liaison Manager and within 2 years the Centre Manager of BE Offices flagship building.
Sarah and Riad then made the best move of there lives and moved to the northwest to start a family and a business of there own. Zachary was born first and then Jaxon, they now are happily settled in the beautiful Villiage of Lymm.
